Sandlot does NOT provide specific sports instruction in skill sports such as baseball, basketball, and soccer. All activities are play-based and our focus is on sportsmanship and character-building.
Camp is from 9am-4pm each day. Sandlot does not provide before or after-care.
The first day of camp every camper is placed on a team for the week. Campers are always placed on teams with their friends or siblings, per their choice. Each team has two coaches who assist them during the week.
For the duration of the week campers and teams may earn points by winning competitions, demonstrating good character, and following directions. On Championship Friday all teams are awarded medals based on their success at earning points!
A typical day includes 2-3 hours of games, lunch & camp store, and a field trip.

After our morning games campers eat their sack lunch and have time to socialize and visit the Camp Store!
In the afternoon we board school buses and head out for our daily off-campus field trip. Typical field trips include Jaycee pool, Skate Zone 71, Ninja Citi, Star Lanes Bowling, Integrity Gymnastics, and walks to Avery Park.
At the pool, campers (9 and older) can also participate in our very popular introductory scuba class - "SandlotScuba."
Every Sandlot Camp ends the week with Championship Friday! Championship Friday is the last opportunity for teams to earn points before our Awards Ceremony!
